In April 2023, we held our inaugural Women Leading Ed Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina. This event brought together a national network of female superintendents and those leaders who aspire to land the top CEO roles in districts and states for three days of empowering speaker sessions, meaningful dialogue and networking with peers, collective agenda-setting, and leadership coaching. Sixty-five percent of these leaders identified as women of color.
The success of the summit was astounding: 100% of participants strongly agreed that attending the summit was a valuable use of their time, and our participants believe that they gained knowledge and skills to become a better leader as a result of being at the event. We cannot wait to expand on this momentum.
In 2024, we will once again hold our annual Women Leading Ed Summit to provide participants with targeted learning and peer connections that are currently unrivaled across the country. #WomenLeadingEd
